I wonder what the Republicans right now would do to a soldier that volunteered for the National Guard but stated they did not want to go overseas. I wonder what they would do to a soldier that disappears from duty for eight months, without a word to his commanding officer. I wonder what they would do to a solder that decides they would prefer to work on a Senate campaign rather than fight with his brethren in hostile territory.
