Eeww...this scandal looks like it has legs...lots of Blogs talking about it...Here's my theory...Perry and his wife did split, Connor had his "appendectomy" to explain his absence from the office this week and to explain his failure to go to a pre-arranged Sunday event with some sort of charity, Perry will resign Monday (or announce the divorce), and admit to an affair with a female staffer privately to reporters to squash the national gay rights issue that is boiling over at the White House (with San Francisco doing what it is doing), and Becky Beaver/Anita Perry agreed to hold off filing the divorce petition in exchange for massive concessions on child custody issues for their two teenage kids. And those media outlets with it cold agreed to hold off publishing the story, which is the norm at the statesman, until Monday after the announcement.

Now all we can do is watch...
